Under sin livstid kunde ingen stoppa Djingis Khan och tydligen inte nu heller. Efter vårens uppsättningar är han tillbaka för att med sina 100 000 mongoler återigen inta AF-borgen i Lund med TVÅ extrainsatta föreställningar på engelska. Därefter går färden vidare till London och The Shaw Theatre den 4 september!
I mongolhövdingens läger är det trist. Djingis Khan är svårt plågad av gikt och det tycks inte finnas något kvar för hans mongoler att erövra. Som ett brev på posten kommer då den mystiske Jafar och erbjuder Djingis nyckeln till den mytomspunna staden Samarkand (eller Asiens Eslöv). Hurra nu ska man äntligen få röra på benen! Men den enkla erövringen lär försvåras av att Djingis hetlevrade tvillingsöner inte kan hålla sams, och enligt gudarna är staden förtrollad...
Härskaren av Samarkand, sultaninnan Sulitelma, är lyckligt ovetandes om Jafars hemliga affärer. Hon får dessutom andra erövringar i sikte då staden får oväntat besök i form av korsriddaren Person. Storslagen dramatik utlovas när såväl känslor som krigstrupper stormar. Sadla hästarna, puckla på kamelerna och häng med i detta klassiska spektakel där alla medel, i både kärlek och krig, är tillåtna!

Things are looking bleak in the Mongol chieftain’s camp. Genghis Khan is suffering badly from gout, and there seems to be nothing left for his Mongols to conquer. Then, as if by magic, the mysterious Jafar arrives and offers Genghis the key to the legendary city of Samarkand (or, as some call it, the Luton of Asia). Hooray - at last, a chance to stretch those legs! But the seemingly simple conquest is complicated by Genghis’s hot-headed twin sons, who cannot stop fighting each other, and according to the gods, the city is enchanted...
The ruler of Samarkand, Sultaness Sulitelma, is blissfully unaware of Jafar’s secret dealings. She also finds herself facing conquests of a different kind when the city receives an unexpected visitor in the form of the crusader Sir Person. Great drama is promised as both emotions and armies come charging in. Saddle the horses, whip the camels into action, and join us for this classic spectacle where all is fair in love and war!
