A real treasure is hidden in one of the old buildings in the middle of the wooden town of Eksjö. Behind creaking gates opens a completely untouched and unique bourgeois home from the turn of the last century. At Aschanska gården you can join a guided tour and get a sense of what life in the old Eksjö once looked like. From June 21st until August 20th daily tours in English are held at 11 AM (eller i andra hand på svenska).
Maximum 10 people per tour.
Admission: 120 SEK including service fee. Children under the age of 18 year in the company of adult, 15 SEK service fee. Admission with the cultural heritage card/Kulturarvskortet: 65 SEK service fee included. Mandatory presentation of heritage card to your guide before the tour.
Tickets can also be bought at Eksjö museum and Tourist Center.
