Ticket sales conclude one hour prior to each scheduled tour departure. After online sales have closed, remaining tickets may be purchased directly at our visitor centre. Please note that these are subject to availability.
Parts of the mine shown on the shorter tour are wheelchair accessible. Parking is available at the train station, from where it's a 300-meter walk to the mine. For people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users, there are three parking spaces near the museum, as well as a public, accessible restroom
Buses and trains stop at Taberg. The tour starts on the hour, please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
The mine maintains a constant, crisp temperature of approximately 5-10°C. We highly recommend bringing a warm sweater or a light jacket
Our guided routes are dry and well-maintained. While you do not need specialized hiking boots, we recommend wearing standard, comfortable walking shoes for the duration of the tour.
Children must be able to wear a helmet throughout the tour and be able to walk on their own.
Pets are not permitted inside the mine. We do, however, warmly welcome accredited service animals and guide dogs at work.
