Entrance for both ticketed Saturday concerts at ABF's Z-Salen and Fylkingen.
1. Out-Jazz double bill at ABF's Zäta-Salen featuring the debut of a new group led by alto saxophonist Anna Högberg who follows up her expanded, double sextet version of Attack with a completely new band — a quartet with Norwegian multi-instrumentalists Heida Mobeck and Anja Lauvdal and Danish drummer Mads Forsby. They are joined by the radical text and raw sonics of xcrswegx (a dedication) — featuring writer and broadcaster Edward George in collaboration with @xcrswx [Crystabel Riley, Seymour Wright].
2. Later evening programme at the new Fylkingen space on Sveavägen includes the solo amplified violin of Angharad Davies introducing a rare presentation of Lis Rhodes' Light Music for double 16mm projectors and a first time twin guitar duo of David Grubbs & Finn Loxbo. We close out with the breathtaking vocals and uncanny poetics of London's feeo (making their Swedish debut).
