What happens when the line between artist and audience begins to disappear?
For the premiere of ALRUNA Underground in an intimate, unique location in Gamla Stan, we are delighted to present Holloway. Part concert, part collective musical experience, the evening explores something humans have done for thousands of years: gathering together and using our voices to connect, express and create.
Join Australian multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and composer Holloway for this unique immersive concert experience, one where you are invited not only to listen, but to become part of the music itself. Blending intimate songs, live instrumentation, layered vocal harmonies and expansive ambient soundscapes, Holloway will guide the evening through a musical arc of stillness, emotion, expression and connection.
Along the way, the audience will be gently invited to contribute their own voices, through simple melodies, harmonies, vocal textures and spontaneous collective song. No singing experience is needed. There is nothing to get right, and no expectation to perform. Your voice simply becomes another instrument within the room.
At times, Holloway will build and shape these voices live, transforming the audience into a spontaneous choir and weaving the collective sound into the music as it unfolds.
Come to listen. Come to sing. Come to lie down, close your eyes, move, or simply receive.
For the final evening of Holloway's European tour, we invite you into a concert that will never exist in quite the same way again, because everyone in the room will help create it.
Spots are limited to 35 participants.
