In this workshop, we will explore traditional Slavic love and heartbreak songs through the melodies of longing, separation, desire, betrayal, devotion, and the emotional entanglements shaped by centuries-old social norms.
Beyond learning the repertoire, participants will receive practical tools to develop their vocal technique (often referred to as “open voice” or “natural singing”). Through voice training exercises and full-body movement practices, we will work on breath support, projection, resonance, and blending in harmony.
The workshop is open to participants of all vocal levels. Minors are welcome to attend under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
